We have assembled a world-class team with a balanced mix of experienced and early-career researchers, stakeholders, users, and advisors from across New Zealand. We have a strong focus on inclusiveness and co-production spanning the length of the research value chain including:
- Universities & Wānanga: University of Auckland, Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington, University of Canterbury, and Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi.
- CRIs: Earth Sciences New Zealand (formally GNS Science).
- Private sector science: BellAdapt, Oceanum, and Takiwā.
- Users and stakeholders: Murihiku Regeneration, Department of Conservation, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Ministry for the Environment, He Pou a Rangi NZ Climate Change Commission, Local Government NZ, Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment, and Land Information NZ.
- Iwi: Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngaa Rauru, and Te Rawara.
