Dao Polsiri

Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington

Dao Polsiri is the Programme Manager for Our Changing Coast (OCC) at the Antarctic Research Centre, Te Herenga Waka (ARC) – Victoria University of Wellington. In this role, Dao manages the day-to-day delivery of OCC and supports the scientific team across programme coordination, planning, and operations.

Dao previously supported Te Tai Pari o Aotearoa: NZ SeaRise as Programme Manager and continues to coordinate and support several major ARC research initiatives. Her work includes project and budget management, administrative leadership, stakeholder engagement, and managing outreach activities, events, and collaboration across the Centre’s key research programmes.

Originally from Thailand, Dao has lived and worked across Australia, the United Kingdom, and Thailand, before settling in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2003.
