Faye Nielsen is a Risk Modeller at Earth Sciences New Zealand, involved in developing Our Changing Coast Wellington case study. She has a background in computer science and data science with a broad range of experience including python programming, model development, statistics and data storytelling. Faye is interested in climate risk and how hazards such as coastal change could impact communities, with a desire to raise awareness and contribute to adaptation and preparedness.
