Peter Siew

Dr. Peter Siew is a research fellow in the Antarctic Research Centre at Victoria University of Wellington. His research aims to understand atmosphere-ice interactions in the two polar regions. He uses statistical methods, observations, and climate models to investigate the underlying physical processes.  In the OCC program, he has used machine-learning algorithms to build an emulator to improve sea level rise projections from Greenland and the Antarctic ice loss.
